PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side air-bag which has an inexpensive and simple structure but which can surely and efficiently expands, and which can reduce the size of an inflator. SOLUTION: An inflator for jetting pressure medium is accommodated in a supply part 3a, and a barrel protecting part 3b communicated with the supply part 3a is extended forward of a vehicle body from the supply part 3a while a head protecting part 3c communicated with the barrel protecting part 3b is extended upward of the vehicle body so as to obtain an L-like configuration as a whole. The vehicle rear side corner part of the head protecting part and the vehicle forward side corn part of the barrel protecting part 3b are superposed with other parts so as to prevent rotation around the supply part 3a as a fulcrum by an inflation pressure when the head protecting part 3c is inflated by pressure medium jetted from the inflator upon operation of the latter, and thereafter, the air-bag is accommodated in the air-bag device in a folded or wound condition. |
