PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive and usable lift which is useful for various cares and bathing in a cared person's room. CONSTITUTION: In a cantilever type care lift which is composed of a vertical column 8 and a horizontal column 24 extending horizontally from the top end of the vertical column 8, a hanger 39 to which a body holder for holding a cared person is detachably attached is hanged from the horizontal column 24, and a means for moving the hanger 39 up and down as well as along the horizontal column 24 is provided, a side wall engaging body is mounted between the end of the horizontal column 24 and a room side wall which faces the horizontal column 24, and a cylinder 14, piston and rod are provided in the vertical column 8. The amount of water in the cylinder 14 is adjusted to move the rod up and down so that the hanger 39 moves up and down. |
