PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle remote control device which makes a bidirectional communication possible by integrating an immobilizer and keyless entry functions, and carrys out cost reduction and maintenance labor reduction by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A remote control device has a circuit 16 for receiving a cipher source code CR from a vehicle side when a key 10 is inserted into a key cylinder 21; a circuit 17 for storing the cipher source code; a control circuit which creates the first ciphered code CS1 responding to the cipher source code, and creates the second ciphered code CS2 responding to the operation of a manual switch 12; and a transmitting circuit 15 for transmitting each ciphered code toward a vehicle through a radio wave signal. The first ciphered code includes a command for permitting the engine start of the vehicle, and the second ciphered code is created on the ciphered code in a memory circuit and includes a command for locking and unlocking the door lock of the vehicle.
