摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow cooked rice to keep for many days and to eliminate the change of its taste, smell, color, gloss, etc., by adding starch to garden balsam alcohol extract, drying it to be powder and adding it to rice at the time of cooking so as to provide biochemical deoxidizing operation (antioxidation operation), sterilizing operation, etc. SOLUTION: Garden balsam full grass of 2 to 5 pts.wt. is deposited to 10 pts.wt. solution including ethyl alcohol of over 10 deg. and the remainder is separated. 2 to 8 pts. Garden balsam alcohol extract obtained by this method is added with 10 pts.wt. starch and dried to be powder to obtain an additive for cooked rice. This additive is added to rice by 0.5 to 2wt.% at the time of cooking.
