Apparatus for exercising thigh and abdominal muscles - has ground frame support and straps attached to extensible springs sliding in pulleys

The exercising apparatus consists of a low support deck (1) which rests on the ground. Rubber extensible springs (10) are mounted on this support and slide in pulleys (9) mounted on a cross bar (8) at each extremity of the support. The ends of each spring are fixed to a bar (4) at each end which also has two stirrups (5) to which collar straps (6) are fitted. These collars are straped round the legs of the user who sits on the ground with his body at 45 deg. to the ground. The thigh and abdominal muscles are exercised by moving the knees together and apart against the springs.
