PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve solvent resistance, vapor impermeability, hermeticity- holding properties, fittability, impact resistance, discoloration resistance and transparency by using an olefin-maleimide copolymer resin as a material. SOLUTION: For example, as a pen lead knock valve type coating tool, an olefin-maleimide copolymer resin is used for a main body 1, a cap 2 and a fore case 3. As a result, it is insoluble to all the solvents which have a possibility of being used in various inks and there exists no change in appearance and light transmittance is 91% which is comparable to that for acrylic resin and Abbe number is high enough to the level for acrylic resin and birefringence is small and transparency is enough. In addition, for moldability, ordinary injection and extrusion molding is possible and as the heat resistance, it exceeds the heat resistance of polycarbonate. In the mechanical characteristics, it exhibits the highest rigidity among non-crystalline plastic and high surface hardness and impact resistance. |
