<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure non-interrupted smooth work in a relation between a series of cutting steps for books, booklets or magazines and other treating devices by cutting two printed matters by a head edge part and a leg edge part in one operation step. SOLUTION: A driving unit of a piston cylinder unit 33 is provided in a base guided by the driving motor of a positioning device 7, two printed matters 5 and 6 are placed in cutting positions for head edge and leg edge parts, and these printed matters 5 and 6 are pressed before cutting is performed on a cutting table 22 by a pressing beam 34 provided in the front side of a cutting device 2. In this condition, the two printed matters 5 and 6 are cut by a cutter 3 and then a next printed matter 4 is moved to the position of a front edge part where cutting is performed. Further, staked printed matters 40 are fed to a lift for guiding these upward, moved to fixing devices 12 and 13, all treating steps are executed with one work and this is then repeated.</p> |
