PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making nonsticky the surface of a vulcanized rubber e.g. a platy rubber product such as a packing rubber, a lining rubber, a mat rubber or a conveyor rubber to improve its nonslipperiness. SOLUTION: Before a rubber is vulcanized, its surface is uniformly coated with microballoons each of which is composed of a heat-expandable shell made of an organic resin material and a core being a heat-expandable gas, liquid or solid, and it is vulcanized. Thus, a resin coating layer having suitably rounded irregularities can be formed on the surface of the vulcanized rubber, and therefore the rubber can show improved slide and nonstickiness, is not problematic in stickiness and staining conventionally encountered when a mold release is used and can dispense with any release sheet or the like. |
