<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a repulsive characteristic and spin characteristic by forming an adhesive layer on an intermediate layer and laminating a cover layer on this adhesive layer. SOLUTION: The solid core 2 of the multilayered structure solid golf ball 2 is coated with the intermediate layer 3 and is further coated with the cover layer 4. In such a case, the adhesive layer 5 is interposed between the intermediate layer 3 and the cover layer 4 to adhere both layers. An ionomer resin, urethane resin, polyester elastomer, etc., are used as the intermediate layer. The ionomer resin, urethane resin, etc., are used also for the cover layer. More particularly, combinations of the ionomer resin for one (for example, the intermediate layer) and the urethane resin for the other (for example, cover layer) and the polyester elastomer for one and the ionomer resin, etc., for the other are effectively used for the intermediate layer 3 and the cover layer 4. Epoxy resinbased adhesives, vinyl resin-based adhesives and rubber-based adhesives are adequately used as the adhesive to adhere the intermediate layer and the cover layer.</p> |
