PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any foreign matter from being stuck to a strip effectively and surely at a low cost by making a vessel with an opening part approximating to a roll surface form, come close to the surface of a roll guiding this strip, while keeping the inside of this vessel in a low vacuum, and absorbing the foreign matter on the surface. SOLUTION: In this vessel 2, two end peripheral walls 4 extending toward a surface Sr of a roll 100 is attached tight to both ends of two peripheral walls 3 extending in a direction of a turning shaft center Rx of this roll 100, and thereby a bottom part 5 tightly supports these peripheral walls 3 and 4. Each end edge surface of the peripheral walls 3 and 4 is a form approximating to the surface form of the roll 100. The vessel 2 is directly approached to the surface Sr of the roll 100 at a slight gap, and an internal space C is interconnected to an exhaust route of a vacuum means, making it into a low vacuum. Any foreign matter such as dust or the like stuck to the surface Sr of the roll 100 is surely and easily separated, flying around and separated and gathered in the internal space C of the vessel 2, so that dust collection can be done. Accordingly, foreign matter transferring and sticking to the strip 110 are thus preventable with certainty. |
