PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject molding which melts easily in the oral cavity, enables even the aged and infants to easily swallow the molding and has an adequate chewiness feel by mixing shaping agents, plasticizers and binders with food materials, etc., and extruding the mixture from a screw extruder. SOLUTION: This molding is obtd. by mixing 35 to 85(wt.)% shaping agents, such as sugar, powder sugar alcohol, starch and crystal cellulose, 10 to 40% plasticizers, such as glycerol, propylene glycol, satd. aq. soln. of sugar alcohol and satd. aq. soln. of oligosaccharide and 1 to 25% binders, such as water-soluble polysaccharides with the food materials and/or drugs and extruding the mixture from the screw extruder. |
