摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose an org. chlorine compd. into low concn. with a small consumption of electric power by using a complete mixing-type chamber as a first reaction chamber where the org. chlorine compd. in a gas is decomposed and removed, and using incomplete-type chambers for a second and succeeding reaction chambers. SOLUTION: For example, a complete mixing-type chamber in which a shielding plate 7 is disposed near the gas inlet 5 to change the introduced gas flow into a turbulence is used as a first reaction chamber so that produced chlorine molecules are uniformly distributed in the reaction chamber to increase the reaction efficiency. As for the second and succeeding reaction chambers, for example, multistage divided-type chambers are used. The multistage-type chamber has partitioning walls 9 formed to divide the inside of the chamber into plural spaces. This structure substantially prevents the gas from flowing in the opposite direction to the upstream space, reduces the distribution width of the residence time of gas elements and prevents such a phenomenon that a part of the gas flowing from the first reaction chamber passes through the second chamber in a short time. As a result, the org. chlorine compd. can be decomposed into low concn. with small consumption of electric power.</p>
