<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of hydrogen sulfide and to excellently maintain air environment in a pump well by providing the well with an air feed pipe on a lower end opening of the pipe having a height reacting from the bottom of the well to a max. storage water level, and also with an exhaust cylinder facing the lower end to an upper end opening of the pipe and opened the upper end to the outdoor. SOLUTION: Sewerage is collected in the pump well 1 provided with sewerage purifying performance and when a water level ascends, oxygen is consumed by microorganisms in the sewerage and both BOD, COD increase and the sewerage becomes a poor oxygen state and hydrogen sulfide is easy to generate. When the water level ascends, e.g. a float switch turns ON, an air pump 6 being worked and air bubbles are ejected from the pipe 3 bottom. At this time, the pipe 3 becomes an air lift pump, and feeds oxygen to the sewerage W, and also generates an upward counterblow stirring the sewerage W. Besides, water is stirred at a sewerage falling down part of the upper end 3B of the pipe 3 and oxygen is fed. Thus, oxygen is thoroughly fed into the sewerage W and a generation cause of the hydrogen sulfide is eliminated.</p> |
