When Dn is made H in order to discharge an ink, transistors 141, 142 are turned on, and when a pulse V3 is applied, an electric potential of V3 is output to a SEGn terminal. At this time, the electric potential of a common electrode 17, i.e., a diaphragm, is always GND, and for this reason, the diaphragm 5 is negatively charged, and the individual electrode 31 is positively charged, and the diaphragm 5 is drawn by a static electric power and is driven. When Dn is L, the transistors 141, 142 are turned off, and a transistor 143 is turned on, and the GND electric potential is output to the SEGn terminal, and the diaphragm 5 is not driven.
