<p>Retainer for an excavator tooth whose proximal part has a longitudinal first surface has a tooth support with a recess opening forward and complementary to the part, with a second longitudinal surface adjacent the first. The first surface has a hollow, and the second a bore aligned on the hollow. A retainer comprises a pref. nylon ball, partly in the bore, with its top extending beyond the second surface and adjusting itself in the hollow to the assembly position of the tooth and support, to prevent unintentional dislodging of the tooth. The ball can be elastically deformed to enable the part to be inserted into the recess.</p> |
