Pressure die casting or injection moulding dies - using ball seat limit bushes to control movement of ejector plate

In a device for actuating the ejector plate of a pressure-or injection- die casting die, where the ejector rods are mounded on an ejector plate which moves in the moving die assembly, and the ejector plate is restored to its initial position by plungers sliding through the moving die assembly, the novelty is that the plungers are mounted on the fixed die plate and are used on conjunction with limit stops which control the stroke of the ejector plate but also permit the plungers to push the ejector plate back to its initial position. The limit stops pref. consists of bushes with a major- and a minor- dia., contg. balls moving between the two diameters. Exact control over the location of the ejector plate during die casting or injection moulding is achieved.
