PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce incomplete uniformity due to bed installation in installing a tire rim by specifying the thickness of a rubber chafer in relation to the distance from the outside in the direction of the rotation axis of a tire to the central part of a bead core. SOLUTION: This tire is so constructed that on measuring on a line L parallel to the rotation axis of a tire passing through the central part of a bead core 1, the thickness of the rubber chafer 3 is 30-70% of the distance from the outside in the rotating direction of the tire to the central part of the bead core. Thus, the thickness of the outside in the tire axial direction of the bead core is formed larger at the rubber chamfer, the travel of the bead part of the tire for ascending the bead sheet of a tapered rim is decreased so that incomplate uniformity at the time of installing the tire on the rim can be improved remarkably. |
