<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give less scratches to a ball and restrain reduction in the amount of spin by forming an uneven surface on a metal-made impact surface of a head by a method of jetting minute matal balls with a particle dia. of a specified range to the impact surface. SOLUTION: This head has a hosel 2 to which a shaft is fitted and a metal- made impact surface 3. An uneven surface 4 is formed on the impact surface 3 by jetting minute metal balls to the surface 3. A plurality of score lines 5 are formed on the surface 3. Only a part where the uneven surface 4 is formed is made of metal, while the other parts can be made of other materials. As the jetted balls, those made of steel and its alloy, stainless steel, nickel and its alloy, and cobalt and its alloy are preferably used. The dia. of the balls contains those of 0.3 to 1mm. Accordingly, the purose is attained.</p> |
