Assembly system for forming veranda roofs

The device assembles one or more supporting rafters (2) in the roof (1) of a veranda. The rafter is supported at the end by a ridge tile (3) and a wall plate (4) at different heights, forming a sloping roof. The rafter is fixed at each end by a bearing block (9) which slots into the end of the rafter and is attached to the ridge tile and wall plate which have curved surfaces which match the corresponding section of the bearing blocks (11a). These curved sections allow the position of the bearing block to be adjusted. A fixing bolt is passed through an oblong hole (21) and held in position with a nut (25) and washer (26). The bearing block has an extra screw (27) which holds it in position on the rafter (2) after the fixing bolt has been positioned.
