The holder dispenser for a reel (16) consists of a single panel (1) of a suitable semi-rigid material, such as card or thin plastics, cut out and folded to form two triangular sides (5, 6) which cover a portion of the sides of the reel, and two narrow rectangular sides (2) which fit inside and outside the reel. The rectangular side on the inside of the reel is made up from the two edge flaps (10, 11) on the free edges of the panel, joined together by central slits (12, 13) extending across half their width. A second packaging component can be fitted to the top of the reel so it can be suspended from a display bar.
