Ultrasonic liquid level measuring device for container vessels

The level measuring device uses an ultrasonic transducer attached to the outside of the container base or wall for transmitting an ultrasonic wave and detecting the reflected ultrasonic echo, for providing a corresponding electrical signal. This is fed to a an evaluation circuit providing a mean value. A limit circuit defines the tolerance range for the measured values based on the mean value, with storage and optimisation of all measured values.
