The hearing aid includes several components, like microphone (2), signal processing arrangement (3), speaker (4), current source (5) as well as a socket (6), arranged in a casing (1). The socket comprises electric contacts, which are connected over an inserted plug (7) with an external programming unit (8). A programming circuit of the hearing aid is supplied with adjustment data or exchanges data with the external programming unit over the socket. The hearing aid includes an audio signal processing arrangement (15, 16, 18-20), which is simultaneously adjustable at the programming of the hearing aid.
