Balconies supported on posts standing on foundations in ground

The balcony projects outwards from the wall (2) of a building. There are vertical support posts (3) near the wall and (4) at the corners remote from the wall. The support posts stand on foundations in the ground. There are also further short posts (4a) standing on the floor of the balcony and supporting the balcony railings. The framework for the balcony floor is tied to the wall of the building by three fastening members (13,14) with screws of bolts engaging (15) a frame member running close to the wall and parallel to it. The fastenings may allow a slight vertical movement of the balcony floor with respect to the wall of the building to accommodate slight changes in length of the support posts.
