The holder has a journal (1), which engages into a seat in the component and is fitted into a slot (16) in the body panel or structural member (15). The journal has a head (2) with flange (3) and neck (4), the diameter of which is smaller than the width of the slot. The head has a threaded passage (5) and clamping faces (6). A clamping wedge (7) has an oval passage (11) aligned with that in the head, and clamping faces (10) acting with the head clamping faces. A clamping screw (12) passes through the wedge passage into the head passage. The flange of the journal engages on one side of the body panel, and the clamping wedge engages on the opposite side of that panel.
