An insulator device has an insulating body (6) that can be positioned with its outer edge between connecting flanges (9) of a casing and has at least one moulded mounting (2) subject to high voltage, cast inside the body. The body is assembled from at least two hollow truncated cones located on the same side of the plane through the middle of the mounting. One of the two emanating from the outer edge tapers in the axial direction leading away from the plane. The second one does the same thing. Both cones form a bulge (13) where they meet. On the side of the body facing away from the bulge, a recess is designed, corresponding to the shape of the bulge.
