The lock assembly consists of a locking bolt (5) which can be moved linearly into a lock position. A mechanical blocking member (10) can be moved from a position, in which it blocks the bolt in the open position, into a position in which it releases the bolt. When the hinged cover (3) is open, the blocking member is held in the blocking position by a spring. The member is forced, by a guide (9), in the released position when the cover is closed.
