[Also in Division C3] Substrates, e.g. paper covered with a silicone or a textile fabric, are coated with a foam made by mechanically beating an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of (A) 1-25% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated monomers which have at least one Zerewitinoff active hydrogen atom, (B) 1-25% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated monomers which have at least one group which is capable of reacting with the Zerewitinoff active hydrogen atoms of the monomers (A) in a condensation or addition reaction, and (C) 98-50% by weight of at least one other copolymerisable ethylenically unsaturated monomer, which aqueous dispersion may or may not contain fillers, and then drying by heating to temperatures of from 80 to 180‹C.</p> |
