<p>The tool holder has an inner coolant channel (3) which has at least one coolant outlet (5) at the free end of the holder body (4) on the tool side in the area at the side or above the tool (1). At least the end side area of the coolant channel and the coolant outlet can be formed by the inner wall of the holder body and outer wall (7) of the tool. The inner wall of the holder body can have grooves forming the coolant channel. These grooves can be provided by electro-corrosive action. The coolant channel can run axially in the holder body.</p>
