The condenser assembly structure (2) is disclosed. The opening of the outgoing pipe (22) is positioned below the upper openings of the heat transfer tubes (7) in the inner space of the upper header pipe (6a). Cutouts (38;40) are formed in the upper ends of heat transfer tubes (7), which are located within the upper header pipe (6a). A lubricant mixed in a refrigerant is introduced from the inside of the upper header pipe (6a) into the heat transfer tubes (7) by way of the cutouts (38;40). Alternatively, the outgoing pipe (22;44) is attached to the lower header pipe (6b) at a position close to its end. The total passage area of a group (20;23) of upward-flow heat transfer tubes (7) is equal to or smaller than the total passage area of a group (19;21) of downward-flow heat transfer tubes (7) which is located downstream of the group (20;23) of upward-flow heat transfer tubes (7). <IMAGE> |
