<p>The invention concerns a method for treating exhaust gas of internal combustion engines functioning with sulphur-containing fuel. This method is characterised in that it consists in using as catalyst a composition with base of a cerium oxide and a zirconium oxide, in a cerium/zirconium atomic proportion of at least 1, and of at least an oxide selected among yttrium, lanthanum and praseodym oxides having a specific surface area of at least 35m2/g after 6 hour calcination at 900 °C.</p> |
