<p>A security door-locking system (22) is described for locking closed doors (24) of tractor cabs (21) on truck tractors (20), for example, of the type used to pull over-the-road common truck trailers, and vehicles, etc., with similar pre-existing door latching systems. A flat rigid bar (36) has a hole (53) near one end (52) for fitting over the striker pin (35) on the door jamb (25); and the other end (51) of the bar (36) may be attached to a lock (37) outside the tractor cab (21) after the door (24) is closed. A retainer (42) between the lock (37) and the door (24)/door-jamb (25) provides a secure locking arrangement. And a system like a ratchet (41) provides for attaching the lock (37) to the bar (36) in a tight position with the door (24).</p> |
