METHOD FOR OPTIMISING THE DETECTION OF THE CONTACT POINT OF A TACTILE CAPACITANCE SURFACE

The invention concerns a method which consists in sequentially supplying in high frequency the four corners of a known capacitance surface plate (supplying one diagonal, the other being in the air) in measuring the output voltages obtained in these four corners for all the different possible contact points, in establishing on the basis of these measurements the relationship between the voltages obtained for each diagonal, and, when there is contact, in comparing the relationships obtained with those memorised for locating the contact point.
