The pressing device 1 comprises a positioning mechanism 7 and a pressing mechanism 6 which are arranged in a support cover 8 which can be coupled to the upper end of a container tank 2. The pressing device 1 comprises a lever 14 equipped with an outer actuator 20, a pushing arm 15 and a press 16. The joint action of the positioning 7 and pressing 6 mechanisms places the tin can 5 to be pressed in a position which forms a certain angle (angularity) with the horizontal, axially with respect to the actuating shaft of the press 16, and, once pressed, the tin can is deposited under gravity in the container tank 2. Applicable to the preservation of the environment and to the recycling of materials. <IMAGE>
