[Also in Divisions C6-C7] A cylindrical, liquid-transporting container for storing liquids under pressure, has crimped end walls formed from steel sheet, the steel having been cold-rolled and recrystallized by annealing and containing sufficient niobium, e.g. 0À015-0À05%, to give it a minimum yield strength of 35 kg/mm.<SP>2</SP> and a minimum elongation of 20%. The invention is applicable to the storage and transportation of beers and other drinks rich in CO 2 in containers having a height of about 225 mm., a diameter of about 155 mm. and a capacity of about 4 litres.</p> |
