The stair rail comprises several rail components (2a) connectable together in different height and angle positions and supporting the stair steps. The individual rail components are formed as hollow profile cast parts, with two spaced apart, opposing outer guide surfaces (11,12) running on the same circular line. Adjacent rail components are directly connected with one another by at least one screw (15). The screw with its head (15a) locates in a recess of an upper rail component and extends through openings (13,14) in the walls (9,10) of the adjacent rail component. It is turned into a clamp jaw (16) located in the interior of a lower rail component. The opening (14) facing the clamp jaw extends in a horizontal direction through an angle of approximately 20-30 degrees . The rail components are made of aluminium. |
