The drive movement simulation apparatus has a machine base (11) on which is mounted a carrier frame (14) rotatable about a vertical cable axle (20). A cabin (16) is mounted on the carrier frame (14) and contains a copy of the drive state. The cabin (16) is pivotal about two orthogonal horizontal pivot axes (22,25). The device also has rotary drives (21,24,28) to pivot the cabin (16) about the three axes. A pivot arm (15) pivotal about one axis (22) is pivotally mounted in a vertical stand (13) formed on the carrier frame (14). The other axis (15) is fastened to the pivot arm (15) extending along its length. The cabin (16) is spaced from the first axis to be pivotal about the second axis (25).
