PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the burden of tax-office clerks and to shorten the waiting time of taxpayers by providing a tax collecting terminal device which can collect the duty of a taxpayer and issues a certificate when the taxpayer directly operates the device. SOLUTION: When the registration number of an automobile is inputted from a displaying and inputting device 11, a collection/certificate issuance processing section 3 refers to a host-side system 20 for information on tax payment and, when the tax of the automobile is fully paid, outputs a certificate of tax payment to a printer 13. When the tax is not paid fully, the processing section 3 displays a process selection menu on the device 11 and outputs a payment slip to the printer 13 or accepts the cash thrown from a cash handling device 12 and performs a tax collecting process in accordance with a process selecting instruction. After performing the tax collecting process, the processing section 3 outputs a certificate of tax payment and transmits the collection data to the host-side system 20. |
