摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the storage stability of a recording material, particularly the image stability, after forming an image by forming at least one image forming layer on a substrate, conducting laser irradiation from the image forming layer side and containing titanium black as an image forming material in the image forming layer. SOLUTION: Titanium black used as an image forming substance is represented by a molecular formula Tio1+α (α is 0-0.5). The particle size of titanium black is preferably 5-500nm, particularly 5-250nm. The coating amount of titanium black in the image forming layer can be any amount so far as having the absorption density of 2.5 or above on laser non-irradiated sections. Also an intermediate layer is formed between the substrate and the image forming layer. The abrasion efficiency is improved by forming the intermediate layer to reduce Dmin of laser emitting sections.
