PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band control function which suppresses the deterioration of a restored image to transmission characteristic deterioration and to simultaneously change a band even in the process of a moving image in an moving image transmission system. SOLUTION: In a sending end, an image allocating part 21 divides an input moving image, parallel encoding parts 41, 42,... encode the divided simple moving images, and sending signals that include simple moving image codes which are undergone parallel coding are sent to an receiving end by using different transmission channels 1, 2,.... In the receiving end, decoding parts 71, 72,... decode simple moving image codes among received sending signals. An image restoring part 22 restores the simple moving images into the original moving image. Also, a band controlling part 94 that is provided on the receiving end controls a divided number of the input moving image and channel allocation, structure information that includes the divided number and channel allocation is passed through the part 21 and multiplexed into moving image codes and then transmitted, and the part 22 restores them by using received structure information. |
