PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To longitudinally cut and divide even a soft column-like food finely without damaging its shape by providing a vertical cylinder on the lower outlet of a longitudinal supply hopper in such a manner as to drop a column-like food longitudinally, and disposing a longitudinal-dividing cutter for longitudinally cutting the dropping column-like food in the midway of the cylinder. SOLUTION: While a ring of fish paste is moved with rotation of a framed belt conveyer 2, it is longitudinally aligned according to the length of the ring of fish paste by side guides provided on the frame belt conveyer 2, and cut in the cross direction by a cross dividing rotary cutter 4. The rings of fish paste dropped from the tips of the respective framed belt conveyers 2 are changed in its posture to be dropped longitudinally by a longitudinal supply hopper and dropped longitudinally in a cylinder 6. The drop gravity of the rings of fish paste is applied to two longitudinal dividing rotary cutters 7 rotated downward, which are provided in the midway of the cylinder 6, whereby the ring of fish paste can be cut to halves of uniform size longitudinally without damage of its shape. |
