The floor is assembled from wood panels (2) abutted together, each of which is provided with an electrically-conductive coating (3) along at least one narrow edge, which extends along the adjacent underside edge of the panel. The upper surface (5) has a conductive sealant. An electrically-conductive earthing layer (4) is provided between the sub-floor (1) and the underside of the parquet floor panels, the conductive coating of each panel electrically connected to the earthing layer.
