<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET bottle pretreating method by which it is possible to easily clean the interior of a PET bottle or a paper pack and also automatically remove a label as well as a device using this method. SOLUTION: One of the faces of discarded PET bottles 13 is cut open in the axial direction using a cutter 9, and labels fitted into the PET bottles 13 are removed by cutting. Further, water is allowed to easily penetrate through the cut part so that the interior and the exterior of the PET bottles 13 are simultaneously cleaned. It is contrived that as a powder source, a hydraulic starter utilizing a residual water from a water-cooled incinerator is employed to eliminate an exhaust gas pollution and at the same time, the pretreating cost is saved.</p> |
