PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermittent receiving controller which reduces current consumption of a radio call receiver. SOLUTION: A controlling part 18 sends a frame synchronizing signal of the present station station, a timing signal which synchronizes and repeats and a system variable receiving cycle data to an intermittent controlling part 42, a clock generating circuit 40 sends a clock signal to the part 42, a carrier level detecting part 44 sends data that shows whether a call signal is higher or lower than a prescribed level to the part 42 and also, a synchronizing signal detecting part 38 sends data that shows whether it normally receives frame synchronizing signal data that shows the present station or not to the part 42. When the part 42 receives data that does not have carrier (carrier level is low), is generates battery saving signal of a receiving cycle number that is less than a normal receiving cycle number and also, when it receives data that has a carrier (carrier level is high) and whose synchronizing signal is abnormal, it generates a battery saving signal of a receiving cycle number which is less than a normal receiving cycle number and is more than when data has a carrier. |
