PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication system in which a released data communication link is open again even on the occurrence of hand-over so as to continue the data communication. SOLUTION: On the occurrence of hand-over, a radio terminal equipment uses a hand-over recognition means to detect it and a PPP (point to point protocol) link re-open control means controls a means to open a PPP link thereby starting re-opening of the released PPP link. On the other hand, a host terminal equipment detects that the PPP link is released by the hand-over. Furthermore, a physical link monitor means detects that a physical line is connected via a public network. Then the PPP link re-open means starts re- opening of the released PPP link in interlocking with the radio terminal equipment based on the released PPP link and the connection of a physical channel via a public network. |
