<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe endurance tester for a canister, which requires a smaller equipment scale and has an accurate market correlation. SOLUTION: A fixed delivery pump 32 feeds liquid test fuel into a canister 21, and an air supply source 37 feeds air through a fourth passage 36 into the canister 21 to drain it and then feeds heated air as purge air through a water tank 39 and a fifth passage 41 into the canister 21 to vapor the fuel. An adsorbed weight measuring means 43 measures the weight of the canister 21 after the draining as well as a desorbed weight measuring means 44 measures its weight after the purging. The feeding of the test fuel in its solid state dispenses with a heater and a safety device for heating dedicated thereto, improves the safeness of the device and reduces the required equipment scale, which enables a safe endurance tester requiring a smaller equipment scale.</p> |
