PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container lid body which covers the surface with a decorative sheet in a manner to meet the skirt shape, and of which the appearance is favorable, and of which the manufacture is easy by a method wherein decorative sheets having flexibility are superposed on a heat-press-deformable synthetic resin heat insulating plate, and they are heat-press-deformed. SOLUTION: On the upper surface and the lower surface of a synthetic resin heat insulating plate 8 which is heat-press-deformable, an adhesive is applied, and decorative sheets 9, 10 having flexibility are bonded respectively. These are placed between dies 17, 18 corresponding with the shape of a lid body, and heat is applied, and a heat-press-deformation is performed, and a curved top plate part and a skirt on the peripheral edge are integrally formed without seams of a synthetic resin 8 and the decorative sheets 9, 10. By this method, on the face surface and the rear surface of the lid body 6, the decorative sheets 9, 10 meet the top plate part and the skirt, and for this reason, wrinkles do not generate. In addition, folded parts or superposed parts of the decorative sheets 9, 10 are not formed at corners, etc., and the appearance becomes favorable. |
