<p>Emulsion (co)polymn. of vinyl chloride Process is effected under the action of ionising radiation in presence of an ionic emulsifier having a concentration below the critical concentration of colloidal salt formation of the emulsifier. PVC produced has a very low content of impurities such as emulsifier, electrolyte and other residues, hence very low water absorption, good clarity, electrical characteristics and adhesion are obtained. Product is used in electrical insulators, gramophone records, filter fabrics, and as starting material in manufre. of paints and lacquers.</p> |
