<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device in which dusts on a plane are picked up by a sphere and prevented from being attached to the sphere. SOLUTION: Relating to a pointing device 1 which can move on a flat surface, a sphere 2 whose one part is projected and arranged from the opening of the lower surface of the device 1 can move by sliding or rotating on the flat surface when the device 1 moves, and a pointer mark on the screen of a display device attached to a computer or the like can move according to the rotation of the sphere 2. In this case, an area sufficient for preventing the intrusion of dusts or the like into the opening is occupied at the peripheral part of the opening of the lower surface of the device 1 so that a dust absorbing sheet 6 is attached.</p> |
