<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the fault of an algorithm arithmetic part in real time by duplexing the algorithm arithmetic part of a shaping part and comparing an arithmetic result and a judging result in the middle of a processing flow. SOLUTION: A cell identification part 11 identifies a cell kind and a connection number from header information in an input cell, outputs them to algorithm arithmetic parts 16A and 16B and outputs input data to a sending control part 13 through a shaping cell memory 12. The parts 16A and 16B execute the algorithm arithmetic of a cell delay fluctuation width CDV reducing type to obtain the optimum sending time of an incoming cell and output the arithmetic result to an arithmetic result monitoring part 18. In addition, the part 16A outputs a writing address to an address control part 19. Then, the part 18 compares the arithmetic result and the judging result in the middle of the processing flow and at the time of not coincidence, outputs it to the part 19 with an alarm and converts an incoming time to a writing address to output to a cell memory 12.</p> |
