The invention deals with a device for pressure equalisation between the internal part of refrigerators, but particularly freezers and the outside. It proved to be useful if the same opening (2) is used for pressure equalisation and water outlet, which is located in the bottom (1) of the refrigerator or freezer. The opening (2) features a vertical moving plug (3) which is made in such a way that by its middle section (11) it fits like a washer to the corresponding intermediate section (8) of the opening (2). The moving of the plug (3) in the vertical direction is limited by a bar-like limiter (5') which is part of the cover (5) of the opening (2) and is reaching into it.
